I note rather sadly that out here in the East, the Americans who used to attend the services because the bones of their dead lie in our soil, no longer do so as an identifiable company of brothers. They usually send a representative, but they stay very unobtrusive.

As far as I can tell it is because they feared they would prepresent a target and hence a security risk, and rather than draw danger, they stopped appearing as a group.

Just another sign of freedom under attack.
