Elliot Morley Is Toast

Meet the outstandingly corrupt Elliot Morley. You may not have heard of him before today but Inspector Knacker may well be opening a file on him today.

The former agriculture minister, continued claiming for the mortgage interest on his constituency home for more than 18 months after the loan had been repaid. Lawyers smell blood in the water and are already circling. The claims could constitute a criminal offence under the 2006 Fraud Act and the 1968 Theft Act.

Look at the sign in front of him in the photograph and contemplate the grim horror that a man who rips off the taxpayer in a way that would have an 'ordinary' pleb playing "don't bend over to pick up the soap" for a few years instead represents the United Kingdom abroad.
