Where Are They Now: The Bangles

Those of a certain age will remember The Bangles, an 80's pop phemomenon/embarassment depending on your taste.

Who could forget hit songs like "Manic Monday" (written by Prince, incidentally), "Walk Like An Egyptian" and "Eternal Flame"?

After a fifteen-year pause, the original members Susanna Hoffs, Debbi Peterson, and Vicki Peterson reunited in 2003 with a new album called 'Doll Revolution.'

It was obviously such a huge success *cough* that they were booked for New Years Eve in the Coral Ballroom of the Hilton Hawaiian Village for a gig lasting a whole 75 minutes. Tickets went for $90, $130, and $200.

How the mighty have fallen. Although it was in Hawaii though, I guess.

fair play to Susannah Hoffs though, she is 50 this month and still looks bloody good.

Know the Hawaiian Hilton - quite nice actually, as is Ms Hoffs with her doe-eyes. Also Doll Revolution was written by Elvis Costello.
